In keeping with the acclaimed M+ Museum of visual culture, MSS security staff have been outfitted with personally tailored uniforms consisting of blazers, trousers, shirts and highly distinctive M+ ties and scarves. These classically cut uniforms, designed by M+, are in keeping with the atmosphere of openness and approachability of this unique institution whilst also projecting a smart and authoritative image. MSS staff wearing the new uniforms have expressed their feeling that their dress elevates their status while also being functional in their spectacular surroundings. Each and every MSS staff attached to M+ has undergone a specially designed, in-depth training programme to better look after the safety, security and service quality needs of the client in such an iconic setting.

MSS has been using the GalliNet UK programme PeopleHours™, a Cloud-based Duty Rostering and Reporting System, for over two years, to manage all their frontline duties in Hong Kong.  Software updates as well as total commitment and support have been continually received from GalliNet and this has ensured the system runs perfectly and smoothly without faults.   Very recently the new SMS (Short Message Service) function of the programme has been developed and activated for guards to receive confirmations prior to duties.

MSS has been recognised under the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA) 2020-21 Good MPF Employer Award Scheme to receive awards for two categories namely i) Good MPF Employer and ii) e-Contribution.  This proves that MSS has attached great importance to retirement protection for its employees.  MSS Chief HR & Admin Manager Amy AU (photo R3) says she and her payroll team (photo) are inspired by the honours and further explains that the awards are earned by implementing the Cloud-based Duty Rostering and Reporting System introduced much earlier.  The system ensures payroll efficiency and accuracy and causes MSS staff in particular the frontlines to have increasing trust and confidence towards the company.

 

在強制性公積金計劃管理局(積金局)主辦的2020-21 年度「積金好僱主」嘉許計劃中,宏力保安同時獲得 i) 積金好僱主和ii) 電子供款獎 兩個獎項,這是宏力保安作為僱主致力保障及加強僱員退休福利的重大印證;宏力保安總人力資源及行政經理區秀華(圖右三),與她的薪津組人員(圖)對獲得該兩項殊榮皆感到非常鼓舞,區秀華稱,宏力保安早前引入雲端電子編更及報更系統,大大提高計算薪津的工作效率和準確度,更重要的是加強了員工尤其前線人員對公司的信心和信任。

At MSS, On-the-job Training is set as one of the Management Priorities to cater for the varying needs of its clients.  MSS has won 3 Gold and 1 Silver Best Training Awards of 2020, which respectively go to MSS Headquarters, Manulife Financial Centre, Metro City Plaza II & III, and One International Finance Centre and Mall.  The campaign is co-organised by the Vocational Training Council and Hong Kong Police Crime Prevention Bureau, and is supported by the Security and Guarding Services Industry Authority.

The day-to-day operations of a typical sizeable security company are so heavy and complicated that it necessitates a means to effectively exchange updated information between departments, to which the industry refers as the ‘Morning Prayers’. MSS adopts this good practice ‘religiously’, and the morning prayers take place steadfastly on all working days come rain or shine. This ensures all stakeholders are on the same page such that the next series of actions that will be taken are up to the instant requirements of its clients and at the agreed service levels or beyond.

一家典型而較大規模的保安公司每日的運作實在非常繁複,一般都需要一種方式來促使各部門交换最新的信息,行內皆稱之為「早禱會」;宏力保安亦沿用這個「習俗」於每個工作天無論風吹雨打必進行早禱會,確保各持份者對於客户即時的要求將採取一致的行動,達到或甚至超越與客户商定的服務水平。

In October 2020, MSS introduced and began running its e-Training Platform by use of a Web App on a Smartphone to link with the e-Training website; this was in addition to its traditional In-class Training. MSS’ e-Training has interactive online lectures and quizzes as well as live video talks with the Chief Trainer as and when needed. At MSS, on-the job training is provided to frontline officers on a monthly basis with a yearly schedule planned in advance and tailored to the Clients’ needs, all with electronic logs and certificates of completion for Clients’ reference and mutual records. The e-Training Platform is also part of the Certificate in Basic Security Services (Qualification Framework Level 1) Course conducted by MSS, which guides students to access the specified learning materials in the most convenient manner.

宏力保安於二〇二〇年十月引入及操作電子訓練平台,利用智能手機透過網絡應用程式連接主訓練網站,來輔助及加強傳統的課堂訓練;宏力保安的電子訓練提供互動及在線的講課和測驗,有需要時更可與總訓練主任現場視像對話;宏力保安一向每月為前線人員提供在職訓練,而這些訓練都是由訓練部每年籌劃或就客户要求而度身訂造,全程有電子記程和合格證書供客户備考及作雙方紀錄。電子訓練平台亦是宏力保安所舉辦的保安員培訓證書 (資歷架構第一級)課程的一部分,讓學員非常方便地透過平台找到課程指定的學習材料。

MSS sees Service Quality as one of the top three company goals and two years ago put in place guidelines to ensure work efficiency.  This was the ‘1-2-3’ Service Pledge on complaints and queries from clients or staff.  It follows that complaints or queries received will be responded to and investigated within one (1) working day and corresponding actions to be taken within two (2) working days.  Within three (3) working days all actions should be completed and a formal reply to be made to the originator.

MSS also maintains a Compliments and Complaints Register in which single-digit customer complaint cases have so far been recorded each month while those from staff are at or near zero.  Worth to note is MSS has about 100 contracts serviced by a workforce of 1500 people.

MSS strives for continuous improvement in all aspects with a view to establishing its leading position and good reputation in the local market.

 

宏力保安視服務質素為公司三項重要目標其中之一 , 早於兩年前已訂下服務承諾的指引確保工作效率, 尤其對於客户或員工的投訴或提問設有「1-2-3」的服務承諾, 即收到投訴或提問,必於一(1) 個工作天內作回應和調查, 並在兩(2)個工作天內採取相應行動, 及在三(3)個工作天內完成所有行動及正式回覆。

Megastrength Security Services (MSS) upholds the Group’s mission to undertake Corporate Social Responsibilities that our “ MegaLove Volunteers Team” has long been joining the Group’s volunteers team, “Team of Care” in various social services. In a bid to extend our outward-bound work, the “HK Community Emergency Aid Team”– Wong Tai Sin District, has recently been established, headed by our Staff Relations and Training Manager, Sammy CHEUNG.  The Team is widely supported by staff members from MSS headquarters and frontline teams while the official inauguration ceremony was held on 24 July 2021, which was also attended and supported by MSS Senior Assistant General Manager, Danny NGAN and Principal Security Manager, Boris KWAN.  In his opening address, Sammy CHEUNG described it as a rather meaningful move for the entire MSS team to serve the community as and when needed.

宏力保安秉持集團履行企業社會責任之宗旨,屬下的「宏愛義工隊」多年來積極融入集團「恒愛義工隊」服務社會,為擴闊義工外展範疇,日前更加入「社區應急輔助隊」及成立黃大仙總區, 由宏力職員關係及訓練經理張五斤領隊,數十位宏力保安總所及前線人員相繼加入,並於二零二一年七月二十四日舉行就職典禮,宏力高級助理總經理顏楚國及首席保安經理關焕民到場支持。張五斤在致辭時表示,「宏愛義工隊」正式開展社區應急義工服務,日後將會推動更多同事參加這項非常有意義的外展服務。
