Outstanding performance of staff in Grandiose

 

In order to promote quality service to clients and reinforce enthusiasm of our front-line staff in carrying their duties, an election of outstanding front-line staff in Grandiose has been organized in December. Two of staff were selected as The Outstanding Security Staff Performance in 2006, a merit certificate together with a gift voucher was presented in the Award Presentation as an encouragement and praise to them.

Remarks: Excellence Performance Award will be continuously launched as an encouragement for outstanding performance of our security personnel, please endeavor to achieve and get involved in such programmes.

 

 

 

 

 

X’mas Party 2006

 

During the festive season many of our staff made up an appetizing and colorful Christmas menu for their family gatherings. Others bought presents, decorated Christmas trees and hosted a Christmas Party on Christmas Eve, to share the loving event spirit with friends.

To enjoy such festive spirit, MSS was delighted to host this year’s Christmas party on Dec 22, with a range of delicious food and amazing lucky draw, brought all the staff together as a family to celebrate the joys of the season.

Recruitment Day

 

In order to recruit more applicants for our manpower needs, MSS has been actively participating in various recruitment fairs which were organized by New Territories Association Retraining Centre in Tseung Kwan O, Hong Kong Human Resources Ltd in Jordon and Hong Kong Employment Development Services in Wong Tai Sin. Apart from that, MSS will also join two Recruitment Days on Jan 18 & Jan 24 – it is organized by Labor Department in Shatin and Christian Action in Kwun Tong respectively.

Recruitment Update

Staff Referral Bonus / New Join Staff Incentive

 

In consideration of large capacity of manpower needs for the post of Security Officer for Two IFC, the “Staff Referral Bonus” and “New Join Staff Incentive” activities for Two IFC will be on-going until further notice. Under the above activities, both referrer and referee (or the applicant only) will receive $ 500 and $ 1,000 respectively as a bonus for the new join incentive, provided that both of them should complete 3 months services with satisfactory performance upon the joining of referee. During the said period, no resignation or termination of the employment is in the interim from both the referrer and referee.

 

 

On-going Events

 

Approaching to the festive month of January, MSS played an active role on various events and “Lau Poon” functions, particularly for the new launch of luxury houses Beverly Hills, located at the most prestigious part of Tai Po, 161. Starting from November, approximately 120 “Lau Poon” staff posted on weekdays and over 180 staff on weekends.

 

 

New Designated No Smoking Area

 

With effect from Jan 1, 2007, all indoor areas of workplaces, indoor public places such as lift lobbies, staircases and public lavatories, restaurants, bars for all ages and karaoke lounges will become designated no smoking area under the Smoking Ordinances. The extended no-smoking areas are also cover indoor areas of public markets and escalators (include all those in indoor and outdoor areas with or without any sides being enclosed).

To improve the quality of living environment and strive for a smoke-free culture to safeguard public health, your contribution and commitment to the requirements of the Ordinance will surely enhance the smooth implementation of the statutory smoking ban.
