Pilgrimage for good fortune

 

As the Lunar New Year is a time to make offerings we say good bye to the Year of Rooster and welcome in the Year of The Dog.

According to traditional customs, people make pilgrimages at Chinese New Year to give thanks for the past 12 months and pray for good fortune in the coming year. On 1 February 2006, all MSS¡¦s managers went to Wong Tai Sin temple, to bestow blessings on the Gods and ask for good fortune for MSS and all MSS Staff for the Year of the Dog.

 

MSS Annual Dinner

To express earnest thanks to our colleagues for their effort throughout the year¡¦s work as well as giving out our best wishes to them, we have arranged a Chinese Annual Dinner at Tsui Hang Village Restaurant, for all our office, Ops staff and senior officers from major sites. During the joyful night, all of us enjoyed the appetizing menu, amazing Lucky draw as well as prize presentation with various values of department store, supermarket and cash coupon, also household appliances and digital camera as the first prize. By the end of the night, everyone had great fun with a smile and prizes in their arms.  MSS hopes to hold this type of annual dinner with all staff in the coming years.

 

 

Appointment of Manager ¡V Operations support

 

MSS is proud to announce that Mr. Adam William Mills James was appointed as a Manager Operations Support 4th January 2006. He previously worked on a number of security assignments throughout Europe and Asia in the areas of executive protection, event and contract security. In his new role, he will be managing MSS¡¦s gurkha guard forces and offering supports to the company¡¦s operations as well as close liaison with a number of high profile customers. With all-round professional and operational experiences, we have full confidence in vision and surely MSS can continue offering quality comprehensive security services in coming years.

 

HOLLYWOOD TERRACE ¡V Excellence Performance Award

 

We are proud to announce that five of our security personnel in Hollywood Terrace were awarded excellent performance certificates in month of January, they include:

In recognition of their outstanding performance and achievement in providing quality services to our customer, a certificate of merit and cash were awarded by Hollywood Terrace according to their position of award. At the same time, to encourage and give a praises to them, MSS will also issue a certificate of compliment with cash award to above in addition.

 

Remarks: Best security services award will continuously launched as an encouragement for excellent performance of our security personnel, please endeavour to achieve and get involved in such programs.

 

Medical and Hospitalization Scheme 2006 ¡V 2007

 

The Group Medical & Life Insurance for (1 Mar 06 ¡V 28 Feb 07) will be renewed with CMG Asia Ltd, and we are still using the network doctor provided by Quality HealthCare Medical Services Ltd.

Also, all benefits schedules and claim procedures for Plan 1, 2, 3, out-patient & hospitalization benefits for Plan 4 are remains unchanged, however Chinese Herbalist / Bonesetter and referral X-ray & Lab-test will be withdrawn in new insurance scheme of Plan 4.

The existing ¡§QHMS Medical Card¡¨ will be automatically renewed and stay valid, should you have any enquires or concerns about our medical and hospitalization scheme, please don¡¦t hesitate to contact our HR staff for further information. 

 

Recruitment Update - Staff Referral Bonus

 

The ¡§Staff Referral Bonus¡¨ activity for posts of One IFC, Two IFC and Cyberport in the month of February, 2006 has been completed. In consideration of large capacity of manpower needs for Cyberport, therefore, the ¡§Staff Referral Bonus¡¨ activity for Cyberport will be extended until March 31, 2006, while the procedures and stipulation of this activity will be remain unchanged.
